The Health, Environment, and Action in Louisville (HEAL) Study is a part of Green Heart Louisville Project. HEAL measures the health of hundreds of people living in the Green Heart study area. The HEAL Study could help us find new ways to prevent heart disease, diabetes, and obesity without the use of medication.

Green Heart is seeking sub-study collaborations that address other social factors:

• Medication use through sewage analysis
• Behavioral health and psychological assessment
• Aesthetics and activity
• Effect of greenness on noise and light pollution
• Changes in non-vehicular mobility in and between communities
