First wave of clinical outcomes

We are excited to report the first of a series of clinical results of the HEAL study. Residents in the areas where trees and shrubs were planted showed a significant reduction in hsCRP, an inflammation marker in their blood, compared to residents in the unplanted areas. This finding is important because lower levels of inflammation are associated with reduced risk of heart disease.
